Mr. Christie is partner in Terrile, Cannatti & Chambers, LLP. Previously, he founded Forefront IP Lawgroup of Christie & Rivera, PLLC. Also, he was co-founder of the Austin office of and patent practice leader of Lee & Hayes, PLLC. In addition, Mr. Christie was Chief IP Counsel for two technology companies—one of which, he co-founded.
In 2010, Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) Magazine recognized the patents handled by Mr. Christie and the firm where he was a partner and practice leader as the highest quality patents secured by any U.S. law firm. In 2013, Super Lawyers® selected Kasey as a Rising Star in the legal profession.

His practice encompasses all aspects of intellectual property (IP) law, including trademark law and patent protection of high-tech and computer technology, such as software, machine learning, big data, computer hardware and architecture, AI, data communications, blockchain, digital signal processing, image processing, LEDs, medical devices, haptics, eCommerce, networking, IoT, semiconductor manufacturing, 2D and 3D printing, wireless communication, deep learning, voice recognition, augmented reality (AR), GPS and location tech, defibrillators and pacemakers, robotics, distributed ledger technology, computer input devices, cryptography, cybersecurity, mobile devices, mobile payments, cryptocurrency, and computer vision.
During his legal experience, Kasey represented and helped protect the intellectual property (IP) assets of some the best known and largest international high-tech companies, such as Google, Microsoft, Intel, HP, T-mobile, and General Electric. He has also represented smaller technology companies, like Splunk, Physio-Control, ABBY Software, St. Jude Medical, and Synaptics. And Kasey has assisted many small and start-up companies, such as Pacinian and Rohinni.

Kasey has started and ran several businesses, including one currently valued over $100 million.
Kasey is a performer, host, trainer, and business-owner of an improv comedy theater: ComedySportz®. He has performed across the country, trained amateur and professional comedians, and led hundreds of team-building seminars.
